Interesting similarities/links between bipolar disorder & other conditions

I’ve done a bit of research in the past about dissociative symptoms, migraines, bipolar disorder, seizure disorders and pseudo seizures, some types of tinnitus, and even fibromyalgia. There are an uncanny number of  similarities/links between them in some peoples’ experiences. Some (not all necessarily common to all) are as follows:

Light can trigger migraines, mania, and/or seizures in some people

Did you know that there are some interesting links between migraines, bipolar mania, and seizures? One I’ve learned about is light (i.e. shimmering, patterned or strength/time of light).

Crash! Crack! Boom! from frequent clumsiness

I think there are a lot of medications out there that include a little tag or paperwork reading “Be careful operating a motor vehicle or machinery until you are familiar with how it affects you.” Or “May cause dizziness.” Such clumsiness, lack of alertness or slow reaction time, however, is not limited to those on medication(s), but can be caused from various illnesses themselves, or maybe just plain old clumsiness or distractability from an unknown source.
